Style School - Buy these Textbooks.

I admit that I am a style book junkie. I have read at least 10 style books. Trinny and Susannah, InStyle, you name it, I’ve read it. I’ve just came to conclusion about the 3 great books for people who have absolutely no clue about style or very little clue about style to become as stylish as Susie Bubble or Kirsten Dunst (with your own individuality of course!)
First, get the basics right and read “Three Black Skirts” by Anna Johnson. Whether you are 20, 30, or 40, this book tells you the basics of what you can get away with, and what you can’t. She highlights all the classic items every woman’s wardrobe should have and also tells you what suit your shape and what doesn’t.
Now, with a foundation in place, check out “The Cheap Date Guide To Style” by Kira Jolliffe & Bay Garnett to get inspired on how to achieve your very own personal style. There are loads of great quotes in there that has really inspired me and there are lots of great ideas in there which doesn’t break the bank. It also includes Mischa Barton (yay!) who actually looks kinda cool in there, and actually seems to know what style is about. (makes me wonder if those 2 bad outfits worn by Mischa shown in an earlier post of mine were worn deliberately or just a failed style experiment)
Last, but definitely not least. You should own a copy of “How To Walk in High Heels” by Camillia Morton. This is an amazing book that you want to keep all the time. Its got great solutions for many “style” problems like “How to look good in a photo”.
If you’re strapped for cash, borrow the books in your local library but definitely buy the last book. You’ll never know when you will need it. ![]()
