I had a job interview today, as mentioned in an earlier post, and no I didn’t wear that outfit, nor did i wear any of those two (see above) for the interview. I was late though, no thanks to following the wrong bus schedule. I was late for 15 minutes and I could’ve sworn I felt doom coming my way. Being late for a job interview is like job searching suicide. However, I was really lucky that the lady who interviewed me was amazing, plus the fact that she’s half japanese might’ve helped a bit *ahem* lol. And yes, FINALLY! After months of cold searching, I found a job, at least for 4 months, but I don’t start til September, so there…
I was so happy after the interview, I decided to go shopping! I am literally broke now but thanks to pigsback.co.uk (UK citizens, join!), I have like 2 £10 Arcadia shopping vouchers to spend, so I bought the shiny shiny silvery glittery & liquidy top which was on my Spring Wishlist earlier in late March as well as the patent leather black T-bar low stack heels you see me wearing in the picture, and also a shirt for my boyfriend (which i had to pay a few pounds extra for). I am soooo in love with my new sale bargains! They were “buy one get one free” (bought the shoes, got the top free!). Did any of you local chicks get any good sale stuff?
When I got home, I dragged my boyfriend to the nearby cafe to have some very late breakfast (okay, having brekkie during lunch more like), and I wore the outfit on the left, with the waistcoat. It was raining heavily so naturally I got very wet! Also, these stack heels are extremely comfortable! They are even more comfortable than regular shoes! They are only 2 inch heels though! I have given up trying to walk in stilettos and 4 inch heels, so from now on, I will stick to stacked heels. They are so much kinder to my poor feet!
The 2nd outfit, I thought I try to make the outfit even more glam-tastic, so i added another a brighter piece of silver clothing, and a patent leather belt to match the shoes. I think that would be really cool for a night out!
The slinky silver liquidy vest top is really versatile though, I could wear it underneath a jumper during winter to give my outfit some sparkle or if the weather allow us, this top makes a great beach cover-up too!
Ha! What a long morning to mid-afternoon! I think I will take a nap. Hope you girls find some good bargains on your local high street!
