The Item of The Year Award (flying saucer)

As Selina from Flying Saucer suggests, I have decided to pick 1 item that I bought this year that I felt was significant to my outfits, or rather my personal style this year. It was highly debatable that it was either my Topshop silver slinky top or this Topshop black wet look ruched dress. In the end, I picked the dress because I also love ruching on clothes and I did like the dress better. It looks great under most of my jackets, any colour of tights and also looks amazing on its own. This was the best £32 I’ve spent all year!

I doubt it will be forgotten in 2008. This is the most versatile dress in my closet, and I guess that’s what they call the LBD, and this is my safe dress that I can throw on whenever I have no idea what to wear!

Ahh, ruching. It really flatters my poor figure better than any other kind of detail. I must’ve worn this dress at least 4 times this year, more so than any other dress that I own! I just hope people don’t think this is my ONLY dress. Lol.
