They have arrived…finally! but..

I know I’ve talked about these shoes more than I should have but i can’t help it! I think they are so lovely. They may look quite simple but they are heavenly! I was so disappointed when they didn’t arrive yesterday and i literally jumped for joy when i saw these at my doorstep at around 2.40pm! Before I even got into touching the shoes, the dustbag got my attention first. It was unbelievably soft and how i wish they made t shirts or jackets lined in that dustbag material. I won’t be using it to store the shoes that’s for sure! Its too precious! I checked every single detail of the shoe and indeed it was very well made and perfect. The bottom of the shoe even smelt like coffee beans! *weird i know*

I wore em out immediately as i had to go pick some stuff for dinner tonight and the poor shoe got rained on A LOT! I managed not to dirty the top of the shoe but the bottom of the shoe is now dirty and there are also some dents because of the tarmac road i’ve been walking on. I feel so evil for treating em this way on their first day in a new home. The water didn’t damage the shoe in anyway and i used a clean cloth to wipe it dry and it was fine. The inside of the shoe didn’t get wet which was a miracle as it was pouring! Anyway, here is a family pic of the super duper hard paper box, the ridiculously luxurious dustbag and a super neat care card with the shoes (after being mopped dry). Its just the perfect ballet flat for me. Girly with tough elements. *sigh*

I think this is just the beginning of a lifelong shoe love. I can’t wait til my next good quality italian made pair.
