Fringe Benefits…
March 25, 2008 by curellasays
While I am definitely not into the “boho” trend, while blog surfing, I realise that a small trend emerging within the blogosphere. The appearance of fringed boots on Style Bytes and fringe bags on Fashion Toast and Le Blog de Betty, is making me yearn for something fringe-tastic.
Through my little google sessions of finding good quality “fringe” accessories, I found this not so well known bag designer, Kiki Pearl. The price range of her bags are around $500, but 2 of the gorgeous fringe bags which I am seriously contemplating buying are reduced to a super reasonable $140.

The bag size is 17″ by 13″, making it favourable for school, which begins officially in October. The fringe and the slouchy hobo style seem to give the bag a look of nonchalance and it will look so right with summery dresses or a leather boots and waistcoat combo. I like that it looks quite unique and has a crocodile print in the middle of the bag. I admit I am especially persuaded by the fact that these have been reduced from US$470 but I can only buy one of em at a push, so which one should it be?
Help me decide!
Whether or not I can buy this Kiki Pearl bag depends on my Ebay sales this week. I’m trying to get some money by selling a Topshop bag that I bought not too long ago, as well as one of my Siwy jeans. Meanwhile, feel free to talk me in or out of buying this bag!
