The jacket arrived today, or more like I had to go to my post office to pay the freakin custom charges – £15.04 btw and collect it. However, despite that I still feel totally amazing and calm. I’m wearing the lovely garment as I type here in glee and I just got to say that it feels “heavenly”.
I never thought I’d find the jacket since on Celebrity Style Guide (where you find out where to get clothes you seen on TV & on celebs), it stated that the stylist for the OC said it was “specially made for Mischa” and my heart was quite broken when I read that and never in a million years did i think that i’ll even find it on Ebay. Seriously mind-blowing for me. Not making mountains out of molehills here.
The picture of it on Ebay was missing a few details like the collar belt and the flaps were in the wrong place, but I didn’t mind as it was still made from the same company and looks almost exactly the same. I was suprised to see that the flaps were not adjusted properly in real life and the collar belt bits were hidden under the collar. It is exactly the same. And its also brand new with tags! It was supposed to be way too big for me since the measurements of the chest of the jacket was 38 inches, but in real life its just a tiny bit oversized for me. Think Size 10/12 compared to my usual size 8.
I could take a picture of it and me together now but its so special that I’ve decided to save the photo opportunity til the next time I am outdoors with my lousy phone camera. Definitely my favourite jacket and clothing item EVER and I don’t see any other jacket that could replace this one.
Its a bit crumply though as the seller folded the jacket so many times, so how the hell do you iron suede? I’m sure that would completely destroy it. Tips anyone?
Off to dance around like a lunatic!!
Attached is a sexy video of Mischa wearing it. I was so OBSESSED that i even cut out the part of the show just to drool at the jacket. I am such a geek. Please still come back to my blog.
I just wish I had the same nonchalance as she did when she was wearing it.
P.s. I have problems putting the video up on WordPress so check out the Youtube link if you are interested in wasting 1.12 mins obsessing with me.

Wow – I can’t wait to see the final unveiling of you in your new jacket, sweetie! And as for ironing suede… I have no idea! I’m so undomesticated, I’d just take it to the dry cleaners!
it would have been my suggestion also – dry cleaners. Or just leave it hanging for few days :d if you can
or simply wear it, I think it will take the right shape instantly. However, it’s beautiful!
Wow that jacket looks awesome, your so lucky to get one.
Like I said before that jacket is gorgeous!!! I’m jealous
If you don’t mind saying, how much did it cost? My curiosity makes me want to know, even if I was ever to find one on ebay I wouldn’t be able to buy it, cause my country residents can’t registrate on paypal. Sorry for all this rambling…
can’t wait to see your pic, in the clip it looks gorgeous! the perfect shiny silver fabric, lush!
Don’t leave us hanging – post a cool picture soon!
Yay, can’t wait to see you rock it!
P.S. I tagged you in my latest post (sorry if this has already made it’s way to you)!
The amazing google strikes again! I got a google alert about my JUNE jacket yesterday. Of this article, which I never read before, to be exact.
I will have to hook you up with this style again, if I can ever get the factory’s hands on that silver suede.
BTW, Suede or leather : both can be ironed with a linen or cotton handkerchief as protection. Start with a reasonable heat, not the highest of course. I do it to myleather pants all the time when the knees or seat start to bag out a bit.
I would love to see that video of yours, but it’s set to private.
Can you send it to me?
