I might be skint but when I saw these gorgeous Jonathan Aston lace tights on both the August issues of Harper’s Bazaar and Elle, I knew that they were a must-have for the lace trend for Fall/Winter 2008. An order for them ensued and they arrived on Wednesday but in the wrong colour. UKTights were kind enough to let me keep them (but I sent them back the same afternoon) and they promptly sent me the correct pair immediately. I must commend on their tip-top service really! These tights are even lovelier in real life but a little bit “itchy” which I find manageable though.

Btw, I have a question for you: I’ll be going to the UK in a week (Cambridge, specifically) for a 2 week stay, and I’m a little nervous about the British summer: can you recommend what staples I ought to bring? (I’m inferring from your blog I can’t really wear sundresses all the way through.)

Amazing outfit! How sturdy are the tights? i have about 10 pairs of lace tights, and i think only two have survived without being ripped!
Victoria: Thanks! The tights are quite sturdy I would say (but this is my first forray with lace tights) they are very fitted but they don’t feel like they are going to tear apart easily or anything. I might get another pair coz they are really pretty.
