It started off as a day with nothing to do, so I decided to visit a charity shop that I used to frequent to try my luck. I went with no intention of buying anything but came out with 3 items which all only cost me $8 because they were having a half off everything day (how lucky!). Despite an upsetting encounter with a semi-dead cockroach which was hanging off a skirt that I was about to check out, it was a pretty successful trip. The eastern european chick that was running the shop kept bringing me stuff that she thought I would like, and I was rather offended when she brought me a pair of nasty looking cowboy boots and said that they looked like the boots I was wearing! Lol. (of course i am just being dramatic here)

I finally got the length of my silver coated jeans altered, although you can’t see it since its been tucked into my boots. I kept it quite simple since these jeans are pretty “loud” and people were staring at my legs all day. And no, that isn’t camel toe, its just the nature of the jeans to fold this way.
(Outfit Details: navy shirt – lux @ Urban Outfitters, silver coated jeans – miss sixty, strappy buckled boots – topshop)
Then, I also tried on harem trousers for the first time ever, and a gorgeous lace dress a la Prada Fall/Winter 08 at Zara. The harem trousers were ridiculously comfortable and the lace dress was just a complete Prada rip-off and well-fitted!

Trying on Harem Trousers in Zara - I know I can only wear them with heels coz they make me look short, but gah, so comfortable and I just love the boxy shape!

Feeling all Prada Fall/Winter 2008 with this Zara knock-off.

Fantastic haul from the thrift shop! And I love the Prada-esque dress on you.
that charity shop seems awesome! i like the strap in the middle of the shoes, i think they’re cute! also my mom has that zara dress!! lol that’s not a bad comment, she’s very fashionable!
Wow I love those jeans. They look awesome! I’m also loving your style now that you are in a warmer climate. I know you miss Wales but I think it was stifling your style.
Thrift shopping is so much fun! The striped shirt looks so comfortable even from the picture and you are really working those silver jeans! I’m booking a date with you when I get back for some bargain hunting. =)
Personally, the strap on the shoes doesn’t do it for me too, I’m not a fan of peep-toe mary-jane heels with ankle or instep straps, it’s too many elements combined into a shoe. Or maybe it’s just the gold buckle at the front.
WOw i didn’t know such good thrift shops existed in Singapore!
Okay those harem pants are great! i tried a couple at zara too and they are FABULOUS! I’m still deciding which to get.
